At Building Restoration Services Corp., we are committed to being active members and of genuine service to the Boston community. We subscribe to the philosophy that a robust sense of community is created when a circle of giving is fostered. With that ethos as motivation, our employees have created BRS Cares.
BRS Cares is the employee driven and company embraced Pay it Forward initiative. We are dedicated to making a difference in the communities we serve and live in by empowering and enabling others to make meaningful contributions.
In addition to being participants in fundraising events and performing volunteer work, we are currently in process of preparing to launch our Building Communities Campaign; a unique competition intent on promoting and supporting goodwill initiatives within our community. Here is a look the Building Communities Program:
Building Communities Program
BRS Corp. along with several partners, has created the Building Communities Program, which supports local non-profit 501(c)3 organizations in the Boston area. At BRS Corp. we understand that building infrastructure and rejuvenation are major factors that foster success of local organizations and their aims. Our Building Communities program is a simple and interactive campaign that allows local organizations to sign up and participate for a chance to win $50,000 towards a building/renovation project in support of their organization’s mission.
How To Participate
To enter the Building Communities Program, an organization will submit a project proposal, with a detailed description of how this undertaking will benefit the local community. This proposal must also include a two to three minute YouTube video, which describes the project. Each project will be promoted to members of the local community. The more interest the project generates on social media, the more likely it is that the organization will enter the final round of the competition. This means that the success of each business relies on members of the local community, who will promote the business’s project to their fellow citizens. The top five projects that generate the most ‘online chatter’ will partake in the $50,000.00 of donations and cash prizes.
